Spirit.

October 11th, 2006 (10:29 am)

Spirits are something one deals with everyday whether they believe in them or now. The fact you might be a nay sayer doesn't make them magically disappear. And me I work with the spirity type things I mean it's what a demon is in the end. Though sometimes they do get pissed about being bothered and can be a bit, how do you say, testy? I mean you think a woman on her period is bad? Piss off the wrong kind of demon and it makes them look tame.

Though even before I learned I could summon demons I believed in spirits and ghosts. I mean there had to be something more to exsistance then just life here on earth right? We had to go on somewhere the thought of it just being dust and bones in the ground that's it is kind of depressing.

Then there are the fun spirits. Let me name a few for you. Whiskey, Rum, Vodka, and gin. The spirits that can make you look like an ass, make you lose every meal of the day you could if overdone. But see those spirits and the others above I mentioned all have one thing in common. They should be done in moderation.

145 - Tell the truth about something you usually lie about.

September 23rd, 2006 (09:38 am)

"How are you?"

"I'm fine"

Such an easy thing to lie about, twp little words so easy to say. I wonder how many people are really lying to everyone and to themselves when they say "I'm fine" when asked that question?

I know I do sometimes, it's just easier to say that you are okay then have to face a bazillion questions such as:

"What's wrong?"

"What happened?"

"Who do I have to hurt?"

or the whole pity angle of it after you break down under questioning:

"I'm so sorry"

"If there's anything I can do, please call me"

It's enough to drive any sane man insane. Though there is one thing worse those questions, one question that irks me bad. When asked and you answer and then they ask you a question:

"Are you sure you are ok?"

Jesus I said I was didn't I? Granted at times I'm really not in the best of moods, they still should take my words for face value. It's not even always when I'm in a shitty mood, but when I'm in a good one. Some people just feel the need to try and push and push and push.

How often do I lie when I say I'm fine? Why would I tell you that? You'll just have to figure it out yourself.

ooc for those who care *S*

August 30th, 2006 (04:23 pm)

I know I said Andrew was going to be in RP and I had every intention but with life right now so stressful. I'm moving in a few weeks, my dog died, ugh. I will rp Andrew with those who may wish to interact with him just post here but know I'll probably be slow in reps and in a few weeks I'll end up silent for a week or two. I won't be getting him involved in anything too big until I am settled in a new house, in a new state, on the other side of the country, back east where I belong lol

Do you tend to make friends easily? Why/why not?

Come on look at me, do I look like the kind of guy people are just lining up to be their friend? So no I don't tend to make friends easily, I mean I will befriend something if I think they will benefit me. Or I'll stick by someone I know is stronger them me so if there is danger they can take care of it. Other then that, I'm not the 'omfg I wanna be his friend' kind of guy more the 'omfg get the fuck away from you creep' guy.

Then again I have made a few friends, and those are the ones that matter. Though even I know in the end, when it comes to me, it's every man for themselves. I wasn't born to be a hero. I am sure however they know that, and if they don't if it comes down to it, they will find out.

Lamest Excuse?

July 16th, 2006 (08:20 am)

I've given plenty of lame excuses in my life ranging from I overslept to I'm sorry I didn't know you weren't supposed to do that. I think everyone at least once in their life has used a lame excuse it's like nature or something.

I do remember one particularly lame excuse I had used at one time in a yes get this, lame attempt at being funny. I had been so wrapped up in a plot to thwart our arch nemesis Buffy with Warren and Jonathan and had forgotten all about my english paper on Shakespeare. So when the teacher asked me for my paper I told her I didn't have it. When she asked me where it was for some strange reason all I could think of was...

"My brother's dogs ate it"

...Yes wasn't the greatest display of quick thinking though it did warrant a few chuckles though mostly people froze kind of remembering all about that prom night. So I got some pretty off stares, alright so more then I usually did. Being the little brother of the guy that sent hell hounds to the Prom the looks come with the territory. Though I was more so determined to get those looks because I had done something, and not because of Tucker. But hey least people noticed me right?

What is your favorite retreat from the world? for [info]theatrical_muse

June 17th, 2006 (01:04 pm)

Lord of the Rings. Star Trek. Science Fiction. Books on the occult. Those, those are my favorite retreat. I can just curl up and be alone and relaxed. Pop in a DVD, usually it's either one of the Star Trek the Original, because after the original it just got bad, I have the complete seasons 1-3. They come in these nifty little box sets. Those or I'll watch my Lord of the Rings extended edition. You just got to love hours of bonus footage right? Oh not to mention that each movie is like thirty plus minutes longer. Star Wars was good as well but I prefer the original trilogy, the prequels were good and they did tell Anakin's story on how he became Darth Vader. But I'm a firm believer in the originals. Like Star Trek.

Then my books, I love reading up on demons and all that fun stuff. It's always good to know about them because you never know if someday you'd meet one. And if it tries eating you, you really want to know how to save your hide, literally.
